ロバート（“ボブ”）コデットはガイアナに生まれ、より良い機会を求めて家族とともにアメリカへ移住しました。キャリア初期には、日本の大手オフィス家具メーカーであるイトーキに勤務し、その際にDaizuおよびKey Internationalの創業者たちと出会いました。その後35年以上にわたり、ボブはKey Internationalの一員として、北東部市場における家具組立や現場管理に携わってきました。その卓越した問題解決力と強い責任感から、1980年代の人気TVキャラクター「マクガイバー」にちなんで、親しみを込めて“ Bobgyver（ボブガイバー）” と呼ばれています。
